A 30 mile ride turned into a 20 mile ride around the Lake when it was interrupted by a flat at mile 17. I forgot my tire levers so I had to fill and ride several times to make it home. I thank God I was only a couple of miles from home when it happened.

Family bike ride to Subway via the levy trail. We were able to watch a eagle out fishing in the lake.

Please check out the crazy mountain/road bike ride Quinn and I did tonight. It started in Canyon Hills, went along the side of Canyon Lake through Tuscany Hills and back. You have to see the map on the link bellow to see what I am talking about.Riding down Summerhill Dr was a blast. Top speed, 36 MPH. I will break 45MPH next time.

Amber Neben - Pro Cyclist - Christ Follower

Amber Neben has had a very successful career in professional cycling. She won the World Championships Time Trial in 2008. In 2011 she won numerous races including the San Dimas Stage Race, the Redlands Cycling Classic and the Chrono des Nations to name a few. Amber’s faith and trust in the Lord has been the foundation of her personal and professional career. She relied upon God’s healing hand as she faced another challenge in the fall of 2007 when she was diagnosed with melanoma, a potentially deadly form of skin cancer. “I have had a number of challenges along the path of my athletic career. I certainly have not understood all of them; however, I have never doubted that the Lord would bring something positive out of each, and this is no different. I have also never doubted that He has got me in His arms, and I certainly feel that peace now.” The melanoma was successfully removed and Amber has experienced a full recovery, with no re-occurrences to date. All praise to GOD!
